Why Choose Me

30+ Years Fixing Computers

I've been working on computers since I was a teenager. Over 30 years I've fixed thousands of machines—from simple slowdowns to problems that had other techs stumped. Whatever's going on with yours, chances are I've seen it before.

Patient & Friendly

I explain things in plain English, not tech jargon. No question is too basic—ask me anything. I want you to understand what happened, not just hand over your credit card.

Honest & Transparent

I'll never try to sell you something you don't need. If your issue takes 20 minutes, I'm not stretching it to fill an hour. If I can't fix it, you'll know upfront.

Woman Owned & Operated

PC Repair Onsite is proudly woman owned and operated. When you call, book, or open your door on appointment day—you're dealing directly with me, Paige. No middlemen, no corporate layers.

Common Questions

What devices do you work on?

Just about any electronics in your home or business — Windows PCs (desktops and laptops), Android phones, iPads, tablets, TVs, stereos, streaming devices, printers, smart home gadgets, game consoles, and more. If it plugs in or connects to WiFi, I can probably help. The only things I don't work on are Apple Macs, iPhones, and broken smartphone or tablet screens.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash or any major debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AmEx). Easy and straightforward.

What if the repair takes longer than expected?

I'll always keep you informed. If I discover the issue is more involved than anticipated, I'll explain what's needed and give you a revised estimate before continuing. You're never on the hook for surprise charges.

Do you provide the parts for hardware upgrades?

Yes! I'll source the right parts for your specific computer (RAM, SSD, etc.) and bring them to the appointment. Parts are billed at cost—I don't mark them up. I'll always confirm the price with you before ordering.

What if you can't fix my problem?

It's rare, but it happens. If I can't resolve it on-site, I'll be upfront about why and point you in the right direction. The $10 diagnostic is all you'll owe—nothing more.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

Your confirmation email includes a link to reschedule or cancel self-service. Reschedule for free or cancel for a full refund when done more than 8 hours before your appointment. Within 8 hours, the diagnostic fee is forfeited. You can also call or text (336) 289-9354.

Do you offer ongoing support or maintenance plans?

Absolutely. If you'd like regular check-ups (updates, cleanup, security scans), we can arrange a recurring schedule. Just ask and we'll work out what makes sense for you.

How long does a typical repair take?

Most repairs are done in about an hour, right at your location. Some issues (like a big Windows update or a hard drive swap) might take a bit longer, but I'll always give you a time estimate before I start.

Do I need to be home during the repair?

Yes—I'll need you (or another adult) home so I can ask questions, show you what I find, and make sure you're comfortable with the fix before I leave.

Ready? Let's Fix It.

Call, text, or email—I usually respond within minutes.
